The Financial Coordinator manages the financial and personnel records for the Court and handles various financial tasks and projects as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Preparing the annual budget.
- Processing weekly check requests for the payment of invoices.
- Ordering supplies.
- Onboarding new employees and maintaining a record of employees’ personal leave balances.
- Managing payroll processing and related activities.
- Monitoring financial transactions and ensuring accuracy.
- Preparing annual reports for the Louisiana Supreme Court.
- Working with auditors during the annual audit.
- Coordinating with employee benefit representatives.
The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or a related field, or experience in governmental accounting. You must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You must have a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail.
You must reside in the Shreveport area or be willing to relocate.
