      It's the first Friday of the month, which means it's time to Fall 🍂 into a new Pulse of the Parish! In the November episode, we'll go inside the 2025 "Empowering Your Health" Employee Health Fair. Then, we're off to Walter B. Jacobs to walk down memory lane with the staff as the nature park prepares for a new chapter. Finally, we check in with Caddo Employees as they share what they're grateful for.

      Important info for Shreveport residents!🚨 VOLUNTARY BOIL ADVISORY FOR ENTIRE CITY 🚨

      Due to the transmission main break and resulting pressure loss, the City of Shreveport Water & Sewerage Department has issued a Voluntary Boil Advisory for the entire Shreveport Water System.

      Residents should boil water for one full minute at a rolling boil before consuming it, making ice, brushing teeth, or preparing food.

      The advisory will remain in place until water samples are tested and approved by the Louisiana Department of Health.

      BYO Bucket Non-Drinking Water Distribution - NON-DRINKING water from for household use only is available.

      📍 Highland Center – 520 Olive Street
      📍 Morning Star Baptist Church - 5340 Jewella Ave

      Please bring your own bucket or container!
      ❗ This water is NOT safe for drinking.

      Currently, the Highland Center and Morning Star do NOT have bottled water.

      Water distribution sites for Tuesday will be announced once arrival times are confirmed. We will share that information as soon as it’s available.
