The Caddo Commission extends its condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Marc Brock, killed in the line of duty in Vivian on Friday. Our thoughts are also with the citizens of Vivian as they cope with the aftermath of this senseless act.
This loss is felt across our entire parish. When an officer gives their life in service, our whole community grieves. We also extend sincere gratitude to the many law enforcement agencies from across Caddo Parish and our state who responded quickly and courageously to assist.
“Our Parish is heartbroken. In moments like these, we must lean on one another and stay committed to peace, compassion, and justice. The Caddo Parish Commission will stand with the Vivian community every step of the way, and we are deeply grateful to the agencies across our state who came without hesitation to help,” said Commission President Stormy Gage-Watts.
“My deepest thoughts and prayers are with the Town of Vivian as we mourn this tragic loss. We stand ready to support this community in every way possible, and we are also deeply grateful to the first responders and agencies who acted swiftly during this crisis,” said District 1 Commissioner Chris Kracman.
The Commission asks the community to lift up all those affected and continue supporting our first responders during this difficult time. ... See MoreSee Less
