With only a few spots left, Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation has extended the registration deadline for “Through Their Eyes” so more students can take part in this FREE workshop.
Students in grades 6–11 will learn the fundamentals of manual photography taught by esteemed local photographer Bennie Dotie. The program will conclude with a student showcase, giving participants the opportunity to display what they’ve learned.
Classes are already underway, and the next session is tonight, Tuesday, at 5:30 PM. Register today through the Citizens Portal at caddoparks.org to join us!
Bennie Dotie is a veteran photographer and educator with decades of experience. A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, he has studied both nationally and internationally, including in Rome, Italy and at the Nikon School of Photography. He spent over 40 years as a staff photographer for The Shreveport Sun and has contributed to major publications including Ebony and Jet.
