A few reminders to help keep your pets safe through the weekend!HOLIDAY TIPS TO KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE!
Did you know that more pets go missing around the New Years holiday than any other time of the year? As you celebrate this holiday season, please make sure that your pets are safe and secure, so that this doesn't happen to them! Keep pets in the house if possible, check your fence line to make sure there are no holes or gaps, make sure that your pet is microchipped with the correct address and phone number, and make sure that your pet has a collar that fits properly, with tags (or write their information on the collar, as tags can sometimes come off). Let's keep our pets happy and safe, and make this a fun holiday season for all!🐾
*If your pet escapes, you can check our website at caddo.gov under "lost and found animals", to find out if they've been brought to the shelter, or come to the shelter to look in person during normal business hours.
