Important info for Shreveport residents!🚨 VOLUNTARY BOIL ADVISORY FOR ENTIRE CITY 🚨
Due to the transmission main break and resulting pressure loss, the City of Shreveport Water & Sewerage Department has issued a Voluntary Boil Advisory for the entire Shreveport Water System.
Residents should boil water for one full minute at a rolling boil before consuming it, making ice, brushing teeth, or preparing food.
The advisory will remain in place until water samples are tested and approved by the Louisiana Department of Health.

Currently, the Highland Center and Morning Star do NOT have bottled water.
