The Earl G. Williamson boat launch at 11425 LA-1 in Oil City will close temporarily September 21 through October 11, weather permitting, for dredging and general ramp repairs.
So if you’ve been meaning to get out to the lake, this weekend may be the perfect time to do it before the ramp work gets underway. While you’re there, take some time to enjoy the lake and check out some of the other recent improvements at Earl G. Williamson Park.
During the closure, boaters are encouraged to use other public or private boat launches in the area.
