- Caddo Parish Charter: The Charter is the document that was adopted by the Citizens to govern our Parish. It can only be changed by a vote of the citizens, and every 4 years (2024 was the last one, the next will be 2028) the Caddo Commission appoints a committee of 6 Citizens to review the Charter and suggest any changes or updates that may be needed. The Committee presents these suggestions to the Commission, and if the Commission chooses to accept them, then they place these potential changes on the ballot for the public to decide.
