Notification Period

  • Adjudicated for 2021 taxes or newer: If the subject property has been adjudicated for less than 5 years, a 180-day notification.
  • Adjudicated for 2019 taxes or older: If the subject property has been adjudicated for five (5) years or more, a 60-day notification.

Ways to find Property that is Adjudicated:

    1. Caddo Assessor (Pro Search) – Property Search
      1. This subscription-based site can help locate and determine whether the property is available for sale through adjudication.
        An optional mapping feature is also available through subscription.
    2. Caddo Assessor (Public Search) – Property Search
      1. This free search lets you enter a GEO number to check whether a property is adjudicated, but it will not show the year of adjudication.
        It also provides a map showing the property’s location.
    3. Caddo Assessor’s Office – Located at 501 Texas Street (Parish Courthouse)
      1. The Assessor’s office provides public computers to use for research of adjudicated property. Computers are limited.
    4. Caddo Parish
      1. The Parish website lists upcoming adjudicated property sales.
      2. All potential bidders must complete an intent-to-bid form before the posted bid deadline.
      3. Upcoming sales are listed under the Caddo Parish Calendar.
    5. Reinvest Caddo
      1. The Reinvest Caddo Program is a great way to revitalize neighborhoods and improve residents’ quality of life in Caddo Parish.
        The program was established to encourage redevelopment in the parish and offers property owners and developers the opportunity to bring their visions to life.
