Two Parish parks reopen after high water closures

TWO PARISH PARKS REOPEN AFTER HIGH WATER CLOSURES

CADDO PARISH, LATwo Caddo Parish parks have reopened after being previously closed due to high water:

Noah Tyson Park – (9300 Myra Myrtis Rd., Rodessa, LA) – OPEN  
Robert Nance Park – (14770 Odom Rd, Hosston, LA) – OPEN

The following parks remain closed:
Earl G. Williamson Park (boat launch) – (11425 LA Hwy 1, Oil City, LA)
Milton James “Hookie” Cameron Park – (10500 Wallace Lake Rd, Shreveport, LA)

As a reminder, the closed parks are barricaded and it is unlawful to go around any posted signage or barricade.

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation officials will continue to monitor water levels in conjunction with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office to determine when it is safe to reopen the parks.
