CADDO PARISH COMMISSION TO HOLD SPECIAL MEETING ON
PROPOSED SPORTS COMPLEX
Caddo Parish, La. — The Caddo Parish Commission will hold a special public meeting on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the Walter B. Jacobs Event Center (8012 Blanchard Furrh Rd, Shreveport, LA 71107) to provide residents with information about the proposed indoor sports complex that will appear on the November 3 ballot.
The special meeting will give members of the public an opportunity to learn more about the proposed project and the ballot initiative. The presentation will include details about the ballot proposition, conceptual renderings and other visual information associated with the proposed indoor sports complex.
Following the presentation, members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments about the proposed indoor sports complex and the November 3 ballot initiative.
The Caddo Parish Commission encourages residents to attend the meeting, learn more about the proposal and participate in the public discussion.
