CADDO ANIMAL SERVICES TO PROVIDE FREE RABIES SHOTS AND MICROCHIPS APRIL 26
CADDO PARISH, LA — The Caddo Parish Department of Animal Services and Mosquito Control is offering free rabies shots and free microchipping to pets with owners that reside in the Parish in an effort to protect the area’s pet population.
A free drive-thru rabies and microchipping clinic will take place on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Summer Grove Baptist Church, 8924 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA, 71118.
Shots will be given to dogs, cats and ferrets, and are free, but first come, first serve.
Shots will be 1-year rabies vaccinations. Pet owners must be a resident of Caddo Parish. There will also be pet education handouts on low cost spay/neuter services and mosquito and heartworm prevention.
