Caddo Parish to host community chess clinics in June

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation will host a series of chess clinics during the month of June.

Clinics are for beginners, intermediate and advanced chess players 6th – 8th grade.  A certified instructor will teach the basic principles, strategies and tactics of chess. All equipment to participate will be provided, including snacks.

Chess Clinics will be held at the following locations:

  • Shreve Memorial Library – Broadmoor Branch, 1212 Captain Shreve Drive, Shreveport, LA
  • Shreve Memorial Library – Wallette Branch, 363 Hearne Ave, Shreveport, LA

Cost is only $20 for 6 sessions. Space is limited and registration is required.
