CADDO PARKS AND RECREATION PARTNERS TO OFFER FREE
SOCCER CLINICS FOR AREA CADDO PARISH YOUTH
CADDO PARISH, LA – With the 2026 FIFA World Cup only weeks away, Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department has joined forces with CABOSA, Shreveport Strikers FFC and Cumbre Alta Soccer to host a series of free parish-wide youth soccer clinics throughout the months of May and June.
The “Grow the Game” soccer initiative is a U.S. Soccer campaign aimed at increasing soccer participation, retention and accessibility. These clinics will serve boys and girls, ages 4-14, focusing on the fundamentals of soccer while inspiring the next generation of youth soccer players.
“The excitement of the upcoming FIFA World Cup is certainly gaining momentum throughout the United States and Caddo Parish,” said Caddo Parish parks and recreation director Patrick Wesley. “We appreciate our local soccer organizations for collaborating with our parks department to facilitate these parish-wide clinics,” said Wesley.
