OWL NIGHT RESCHEDULED TO FEBRUARY 28
CADDO PARISH, LA – Due to the threat of inclement weather, Owl Night (previously scheduled for February 14) has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 28th from 5:00pm-9:00pm.

The magic of the night is calling, and the Parish of Caddo is calling all citizens and nature enthusiasts to participate in the 19th Annual Owl Night, a much-loved community event celebrating owls, nature, and nighttime discovery.
For over 19 years, the Parish has welcomed thousands of attendees for this highly anticipated event, and after a two year hiatus, Owl Night returns at the new Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center.
Join us from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center (8012 Blanchard Furrh Rd., Shreveport, LA 71107) for an evening designed for all ages. Admission is free, and the event invites the community to meet live owls, explore their nighttime world, and enjoy a wide range of hands-on and educational experiences.
Owl Night features engaging activities including live owl encounters, owl-inspired art activities, guided night hikes, owl story time with Shreve Memorial Library, and naturalist presentations by local experts. Guests can also enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, make-your-own s’mores, and food trucks on site.
Artists and vendors help create the unique atmosphere Owl Night is known for, and participants can look forward to nature inspired crafts and art for purchase.
