CADDO PARISH COMMISSION TO HOLD
ADDITIONAL FOOD DISTRIBUTION EVENT DECEMBER 20
Caddo Parish, LA – The Caddo Parish Commission, in partnership with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, will host an additional drive thru food box distribution event at multiple locations across Caddo Parish on Saturday, December 20, starting at 9am and 10:30am.
“As the holiday season progresses, we know that many families in our community are still struggling right now,” said Caddo Parish Commission Stormy Gage-Watts. “After the extensive turnout from our first distribution in November, the Commission felt that hosting an additional event would help more citizens across our Parish facing food insecurity,” said Gage-Watts.
The distribution event is possible through an allocation by the Caddo Parish Commission and partnership with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana for food acquisition and distribution.
Locations and start times are as follows (please note some locations have changed from November’s event):

Caddo Fire District #4, 8240 Colquitt Road, Keithville

Woodlawn Leadership Academy, 7340 Wyngate Blvd., Shreveport

The event is first come, first served while supplies last. Boxes will be distributed one box per family, per vehicle.
