Procurement
The Procurement Division is responsible for maintaining a centralized purchasing system where all requisitions are evaluated and processed in order to ensure the Parish receives the best product for the best price. Most purchases are made through a comprehensive system of specifications and competitive bidding in accordance with Louisiana Public Bid Law and Louisiana Legislative Auditor (LLA) recommendations. This process ensures that contracts are awarded to the lowest bidder who complies with the specifications, terms and conditions, and who also has the capability to deliver the service or product in a timely manner.

Mission
The Procurement Division mission is to acquire the highest quality products and services at the lowest reasonable cost and provide timely services to the agency and vendor communities.
The Parish strives to ensure a fair, competitive bidding environment for all vendors, while also ensuring that vendors have performed well in their contractual duties to the parish and the public.
