JUNE 27, 2024 SLOTS STILL AVAILABLE FOR MLB JR. HOME RUN DERBY AND CLINIC Slots are still available for the MLB Pitch Hit & Run (PHR), MLB Jr. Home Run Derby (JrHRD), and T-Ball Clinic, hosted by Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation and Captain Shreve High School. The events will take place Monday, July 1 from 6-8pm at Captain Shreve High School. Both events are free, one-day competitions for players ages 4-14 that allow participants an opportunity to showcase their hitting, throwing and base running skills. PHR is the official skills competition of MLB, providing youth the opportunity to show off their fundamental baseball/softball skills,. JrHRD is a spirited competition that provides baseball players the chance to display their hitting power. Every participant will have a chance to compete. Hydration drinks and grab and go meals will be provided by Raising Cane’s and the Caddo Parish Commission.
