Media Relations

The Caddo Parish Communications Department provides information to citizens, media, and Parish employees about County government initiatives, programs, and services using communications tools such as the Internet, print and electronic media, publications, and government access cable channel.

One of the Department’s functions is to serve as a clearinghouse regarding Parish operations for representatives of the media.

ALL media inquiries and request for comment/interview/statements from any Parish employee must go through the Communications Department first.  

The Department works diligently to provide proactive, informative, accurate, and timely responses to media representatives. The channel of response to media inquiries may not result in an on-camera or in person interview due to a variety of priorities and schedules, but may come in the format of an official statement/news release and/or any approved method deemed appropriate by the Parish Administrator, Communications Director, or designee.
