Woodrow (Woody) Wilson, Jr. is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with 25 years of service. Woody served at Barksdale Air Force Base where he was assigned as the Chief of Heavy Repair for the 2nd Civil Engineering Squadron. Woody manages the day-to-day operations of the Parish Government overseeing eight departments and 400 parish employees.
Educational Background
Woody’s educational accomplishments include an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
He received his Doctorate Degree in Public Administration and Organizational Leadership from North Central University. He is a licensed HVAC mechanical contractor for the Cities of Bossier City and Shreveport.
Community Service
Woody also serves the community as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Stonewall Baptist Church of Bossier City and as Board President for the Multi-Cultural Development Center (MCDC) of Bossier City. Woody makes frequent appearances at community schools and organizations as a motivational speaker.
Family
He is married to Mrs. Julia Bryant Wilson and they have four children.
