DESCRIPTION:PARISH OF CADDO INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB NO. 24 – 17) \n SEALED BIDS will be received by the Parish of Caddo\, Government Plaza\, 505 Travis Street\, 8th Floor Purchasing Division\, Suite 850\, Shreveport\, Louisiana 71101 until 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday\, July 9\, 2024 for the following project: \n  \nREPLACEMENT OF CLYDE PLACE-VIVIAN ROAD BRIDGE \nCADDO PARISH PROJECT NUMBER 24 – 17 \n  \nPROJECT CLASSIFICATION: Highway\, Street and Bridge Construction \n  \nSCOPE OF PROJECT:  This work consists of providing all materials\, labor and equipment required for the construction of a three-span precast concrete slab span bridge including\, but not limited to\, asphaltic concrete pavement\, subgrade preparation\, Class II base course construction\, excavation\, embankment and related work as described in the Contract Documents.  \nPer LA R.S 38:2212\, in order to bid the project\, a complete set of Bid Documents must be obtained by the prime bidder at the office of Owen Engineering\, LLC\, 900 Market St.\, Suite 201\, Shreveport\, Louisiana 71101 upon receipt of _$100__  deposit (for each set of documents).  The deposit is fully refundable to all bonafide prime bidders who submit a bid upon return of the documents\, in good condition\, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids.  \n  \nBidding documents will be available on Thursday\, May 30\, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Bid documents may be examined without charge\, upon request. \n  \nAll Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and must be in the form of a certified check\, cashier’s check or Bid Bond written by a qualified\, licensed company in conformance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. \n  \nElectronic bids for the Parish of Caddo are available for submission at www.bidexpress.com.  Bidders that wish to submit electronic bids online will be charged a fee by Bid Express.  In addition\, bidders shall be required to obtain a digital signature certificate prior to submitting bids online.   \n  \nThe successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance\, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law. \n  \nBids shall be accepted from Contractors who are appropriately licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2164. \nNo Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of Bids\, except under the provisions of LA.
